Sam’s Club Supplements Associated with Salmonella Outbreak

Powder supplements sold at Sam’s Club, specifically Member’s Mark Super Greens, are linked to at least 11 Salmonella cases across seven states, prompting federal health authorities to advise consumers to discard or return the products. The contamination is traced to a lot of organic moringa leaf powder imported from Vallon Farm Direct in India. Three individuals were hospitalized, with reported illnesses from May to September in states including Florida, Kansas, and Michigan. The CDC may expand its warning to include additional Vallon Farm products as the investigation continues.
