Road train driver charged after allegedly smashing through posts, parked cars

Emergency crews responded to a truck collision on Murray Street in Gawler, north of Adelaide, where the vehicle hit several posts causing a shop verandah to collapse before fleeing and hitting two parked cars. The driver was apprehended by police in Sedan, 70km away, and charged with driving offenses, including failing to stop at the crash scene. The 57-year-old man from Western Australia will appear in court on Monday.
