Report details bleak human rights situation in Ukraine nearly three years into Russian invasion

During September to November 2024, intensified Russian attacks on populated areas, deliberate strikes on energy infrastructure, and restrictions on fundamental rights in Ukraine have led to rising civilian casualties and suffering, with 574 deaths and 3,032 injuries reported. The report also highlights continued ill-treatment of POWs, increased Russian control over occupied territories, and the urgent need to uphold international humanitarian and human rights law amidst ongoing devastation and suffering.
