Renovated Kozhikode Town Hall inaugurated

Tourism Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas took a selfie with Mayor Beena Philip, MLA Ahammad Devarkovil, Deputy Mayor C.P. Musafar Ahamed, former MLA A. Pradeep Kumar, and others during the inauguration of the renovated town hall in Kozhikode on February 9. Minister Riyas announced that projects for Kozhikode in the recent Budget were on track, with funds allocated for initiatives like the Canal City project and road improvements. The Town Hall renovation cost ₹30 lakh and included wood panelling, LED walls, new curtains, chairs, electrification, and painting, with plans for the Tagore Centenary Hall to become a permanent theatre venue.
