Live Insects Found in Peppermayo Order, Biosecurity Investigation Launched

A New Zealand woman, Jayd Graham, was horrified to discover live insects in a package containing dresses she ordered from Peppermayo for her 21st birthday. Upon unboxing, she found the bag infested with what appeared to be ants and maggots, which made her feel sick. Although the retailer offered store credit, a replacement, or a refund contingent on returning the infested dress, Graham refused, stating it was unacceptable to return items that were disgusting and contaminated.
