Paramount Pictures has released an "audience reaction" trailer and a "Silence" featurette for the upcoming horror film Primate, directed by Johannes Roberts. The film follows Lucy, played by Johnny Sequoyah, whose family vacation turns deadly when their pet chimpanzee, Ben, contracts rabies and becomes aggressive. Lucy and her friends must survive as they barricade themselves against the dangerously smart animal. Primate premiered at Fantastic Fest and the Sitges Film Festival and opens nationwide on January 9, 2026.
