Thieves Break Into German Bank Vault to Steal Valuables

Thieves drilled into a savings bank vault in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, during the Christmas holidays, stealing valuables from thousands of safety deposit boxes, with estimates of the haul reaching tens of millions of euros. The gang accessed the bank through a nearby parking garage, and CCTV captured a stolen black Audi RS 6 used in the getaway. A fire alarm was triggered during the break-in, but the theft was only discovered on Monday morning. The bank has since closed its branch and informed affected customers about the situation.
