Police Incorrectly Report Son’s Death in Car Crash
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Police mistakenly informed the family of 17-year-old Trevor Wynn that he had died in a car crash on December 13 in Rotherham, when in fact he was alive in the hospital. The crash claimed the life of 18-year-old Joshua Johnson and a 17-year-old girl who was driving. South Yorkshire Police have apologized and are investigating the mix-up, while a GoFundMe for Trevor’s funeral is being repurposed for his medical costs. An 18-year-old has been arrested for causing death by dangerous driving.
