Amazon customers can now file claims as part of a $2.5 billion settlement with the FTC over deceptive enrollment practices in its Prime service. The settlement includes $1.5 billion in refunds and a $1 billion civil penalty, with automatic payments for many eligible customers. Those who signed up through specific enrollment flows between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025, may need to file claims to receive refunds of up to $51. Refunds will be issued via PayPal, Venmo, or checks, following a 180-day claim submission period.
