A former federal prosecutor has called for further investigation into the death of 19-year-old Texas A&M University student Brianna Aguilera, found dead after a football game in Austin. While police ruled her death as accidental or a suicide, Aguilera’s mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, suspects foul play, citing a prior fight and suspicious circumstances, such as her daughter’s phone being on “Do Not Disturb.” The Austin Police Department maintains there is no evidence of criminal activity, but the investigation remains open. An autopsy is expected to take 90 days or longer.
