Police investigating fatal Melbourne stabbing after reports of a brawl

Police responded to a fight near Society Avenue in Lyndhurst around 8.30pm, discovering a man with serious stab wounds upon arrival. The other individuals involved had fled the scene, and the victim later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Authorities are still working to identify the deceased man and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
