A former Saskatoon police officer, Dylan Kemp, has been charged with assault following an off-duty hot tub party that led to his dismissal along with two other officers in September. Kemp was arrested and released, with a court appearance scheduled for November 27. The incident, which involved allegations of assault against a junior female officer and concerns about a guest linked to an outlaw motorcycle gang, prompted a serious incident investigation. Kemp and another fired officer also launched a podcast, “The Quiet Fight,” discussing mental health issues in policing while under investigation.
