The remains of Lisa Anne Maclennan, a 50-year-old literacy centre co-ordinator from Morrinsville, have been formally identified following a landslide incident at Mt Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park. The identification hearing, held in the Tauranga District Court, confirmed the remains belonged to Maclennan. Coroner Heather McKenzie stated that forensic odontology and DNA profiling from her children were key methods used for identification. Maclennan was caught in the significant landslide that occurred over a week ago.
