A 77-year-old pensioner, Jenny Field, has been evicted from her home after losing a five-year legal dispute with her neighbor, Pauline Clark, over a 1ft strip of land. The legal battle, initiated after Clark erected a fence on what Field claimed was her property, culminated in Field being ordered to pay £113,000 in legal fees. Despite multiple appeals and refusals to vacate, bailiffs forcibly changed her locks, leading to her eviction. Field expressed distress over the situation, stating she has nowhere else to go.
