Pensioner dies after incident with fellow patient at London hospital

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of 85-year-old Andrew Farmer, who suffered serious injuries from an assault by fellow patient Anatoliy Podmazko, 70, at Charing Cross Hospital on September 18. Farmer died on September 25, and Podmazko, arrested at the scene, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is set to appear in court on October 17.
