Ousmane Dembele was named men’s player of the year at FIFA’s The Best Awards after leading PSG to their first Champions League title, scoring 35 goals last season. Sarina Wiegman received the women’s coach of the year award for guiding the Lionesses to back-to-back Euro titles. Aitana Bonmati won the women’s player of the year and played a key role in Barcelona’s treble win. The best goalkeeper awards went to Hannah Hampton and Gianluigi Donnarumma for their performances in major tournaments.
