Buckeyes assistant on leave, under investigation

Ohio State quality control coach Joe Lyberger was placed on administrative leave in December pending a university investigation, as stated in a letter from the school’s human resources department. The investigation, initiated by the Office of Institutional Equity, did not specify the allegations against Lyberger, prompting his attorney to express frustration over lack of clarity. Lyberger, who joined the Buckeyes in 2021, is currently awaiting further information regarding the investigation while on paid leave.
