Nisreen Nassar and her family, like many other Palestinians, continue to live in schools and makeshift shelters.
Nisreen Nassar and her family are among many Palestinians displaced in northern Gaza, living in an abandoned school as they struggle during Ramadan, relying on humanitarian aid. After enduring multiple displacements and the loss of their home in Beit Hanoon due to ongoing violence, they face gas shortages and fear from nearby Israeli gunfire. Despite the U.S.-brokered ceasefire, violence continues, with over 600 Palestinians killed since its implementation. Nevertheless, the Nassar family remains resilient, finding meaning in their Iftar amidst the ongoing hardships.
