Nakashima defeats Fritz and Bejlek defeats Keys in Cincinnati upsets

Frances Tiafoe and Brandon Nakashima will face off in an all-American men’s semifinal at the Cincinnati Masters after both secured wins in the quarterfinals. Nakashima defeated sixth seed Taylor Fritz 7-6, 4-6, 6-3, while Tiafoe triumphed over Lorenzo Musetti 7-6, 7-5. In women’s action, fourth-seeded Coco Gauff advanced by beating Marta Kostyuk 6-2, 6-2, and Czech player Sara Bejlek, who upset world number one Aryna Sabalenka, won against Madison Keys 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.
