Two British nationals, aged 32 and 35, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing attack on a London-bound train that injured ten people. Of the nine with life-threatening injuries, four have been discharged, while two remain critical. Authorities do not currently suspect terrorism, and a significant police presence remains at the scene in Huntingdon. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the “appalling” attack, which caused major disruptions to rail services.
