Netflix is testing a new search feature powered by OpenAI, currently available to select users in Australia and New Zealand, that allows for more specific content searches based on mood and other natural language terms. This feature builds on Netflix’s existing AI capabilities, which personalize recommendations based on viewing history, and aims to enhance user experience. Although initially limited to iOS devices, Netflix plans to expand the testing to more markets, including the U.S., with a history of rolling out features to Android users first in previous updates.
