Tania Vos attended Mission Australia’s Christmas Lunch in The Park in 1999 with her daughters, escaping domestic violence, and found it to be a lifeline. Twenty-six years later, she returned as a volunteer with her daughter Brooke O’Hearn, reflecting on the event’s impact on their lives. Celebrating its 50th year, the event serves nearly 1,500 people with meals and essential services, showcasing community generosity and support.
