Man in wheelchair attacks Sainsbury’s security after theft

A 19-year-old man, Davey Brown, has been sentenced to over three years in prison after attempting to rob a Sainsbury’s store in Staplehurst while pretending to be a wheelchair user. Brown’s crime spree began with a hit-and-run incident before he concealed two crates of beer under a jacket and attacked a security guard when confronted. He was arrested shortly after fleeing the scene. Brown pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including robbery and assault, and was sentenced on November 6.
