73-Year-Old Passenger Dies After Falling from Cruise Ship

A 73-year-old man from Melbourne fell overboard from the Disney Wonder cruise ship in the Tasman Sea on November 22, around 4:30 am. The ship, en route to Auckland, turned back after the incident, but passengers were not informed until several hours later. Victoria Police confirmed the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and his body has yet to be recovered. The cruise is set to continue to New Zealand, with arrival expected on Wednesday.
