Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych appealed his disqualification from the Milano Cortina Olympics over his helmet design, which featured images of athletes killed since Russia invaded Ukraine. Heraskevych accused the IOC of serving as propaganda for Russia and has received threats as a result. The Court of Arbitration for Sport is expected to make a decision on his appeal soon, allowing him to continue competing.
