Apple announced macOS Tahoe 26 at WWDC 26, introducing Metal 4 for Apple Silicon, which includes new technologies like MetalFX Frame Interpolation and MetalFX Denoising to improve gaming graphics and performance. MetalFX Frame Interpolation enhances frame rates with minimal overhead, while MetalFX Denoising enables advanced real-time ray tracing in upcoming games such as Crimson Desert and InZOI. Additionally, a new Games app will be pre-installed on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, featuring titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and HITMAN World of Assassination.
