Rep. Maxwell Frost reported being assaulted at the Sundance Film Festival, where a man punched him after making racist remarks and claiming Trump would deport him. The assailant was arrested following the incident, which involved the individual shouting about his pride in being “white.” Democratic House leader Hakeem Jeffries condemned the attack, calling for the perpetrator to be aggressively prosecuted. The festival, running until February 1, will be held in Boulder, Colorado next year.
