Map shows areas with highest pollen count after hayfever warning issued

This Easter weekend, pollen levels are expected to rise significantly, with the Met Office warning of ‘very high’ counts in parts of England and Scotland, particularly in the East and West Midlands, London, and South East. Those prone to hay fever should prepare for heightened symptoms, especially as tree pollen season begins, affecting 10% to 30% of adults and 40% of children. Fortunately, Scotland will experience ‘low’ pollen levels, providing some relief by Sunday when counts are predicted to decrease.
