Authorities have identified Mansour Kaziha and Nader Awad as victims of a gun attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego, alongside Amin Abdullah, a security guard who attempted to thwart the assailants. The attack, being investigated as a hate crime, left the mosque community grieving and raised concerns over rising Islamophobia. The alleged attackers, ages 17 and 18, were found dead from self-inflicted wounds, and police discovered numerous weapons linked to them. Community support has surged, with fundraising efforts exceeding $2 million for the victims’ families.
