Manitoba RCMP have issued a dangerous person alert for 39-year-old Joshua Paupanekis following the abduction of 20-year-old Raeanne Thomas in Pimicikamak Cree Nation. Paupanekis allegedly assaulted a 24-year-old with a hammer and abducted Thomas, fleeing on foot from the scene. Police warn that he is armed and dangerous, urging the public not to approach him. Authorities are actively searching for Thomas and request anyone with information to contact the Cross Lake RCMP detachment.
