A British court has sentenced Larry Fraser to 13 months in prison for stealing a print of Banksy’s iconic painting, Girl with Balloon, valued at £270,000. Fraser was caught on camera during the burglary and the artwork was recovered shortly after the theft. Banksy, known for his politically charged street art, has created multiple versions of this painting in London and Palestine since its inception in 2002. His works in Palestine include poignant pieces addressing the separation wall and local conflicts.
