LaLiga president Javier Tebas reported Manchester City to the European Commission for allegedly manipulating their balance sheets by placing losses on companies outside the City Football Group structure. Tebas filed the complaint in 2023, stating that City’s expenses were being misrepresented through these additional companies. City has denied the claims and is currently facing legal battles over financial rule violations in the Premier League.
