Residents and visitors in Limpopo now have the opportunity to enjoy a new family water park, along with a reptile and bird park, an outdoor arena, and various water-based activities.
Located at the Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, the newly renovated hub has introduced its own water park, WildThingz. This water park features a 25m swimming pool and offers a range of fun water games such as airball, freeze tag, diving Olympics, pool basketball, and more.
In addition to the water park, the family-friendly venue also includes a bird and reptile park where children can learn about the diverse wildlife in the region while having fun.
WildThingz, serving as both a bird and reptile park and a water park, is just one of the many family activities available at Meropa. Visitors can also enjoy go-karting, quad-biking, arcade games, table soccer, and more.
According to The Citizen, Meropa’s General Manager, Sammy Mokhele, mentioned:
“As the heartbeat of Limpopo, Meropa’s entertainment offering is suited to more than just kids’ parties, with our new private gaming room and an upcoming renovation for our Salon Privé,”
He continued:
“We recently launched Meropa Outdoor Arena on the lawns, which is the ideal venue for concerts and exhibitions and can accommodate up to 4,000 people in the standing area.”
The hub has also opened a coffee shop where guests can relax with a drink and a light meal while kids explore the sweet shop.
Entrance to WildThingz costs R50 for kids and R100 for adults, with operating hours from Tuesday to Sunday from 09h00 to 16h00.
