The Wisconsin women’s basketball team improved to 6-1 after an 81-63 victory against Detroit, marking their best start in seven years. Despite turning the ball over a season-high 19 times and allowing 36 points from the Titans’ bench, senior guard Lily Krahn led the Badgers with 18 points, including six three-pointers. The team excelled in the fourth quarter, shooting 66.7% and outscoring Detroit, while junior Kyrah Daniels contributed significantly with 13 points. Coach Robin Pingeton emphasized the importance of defensive engagement, particularly for players like Destiny Howell, who struggled with foul trouble.
