Lenovo has removed the iconic TrackPoint from its latest ThinkPad laptops, citing the need for a change. The TrackPoint will still be featured in other ThinkPads, but not in the 14- and 15-inch ThinkPad X9 Aura Editions. These new laptops are built around the vPro versions of Intel Core Series 2 “Lunar Lake” processors and offer premium display options, Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Lenovo’s AI Now features for optimized device configurations and smart modes.
