Man who credits King for cancer diagnosis first to receive robotic microsurgery

Nick Lees, an avid golfer from Surrey, was the first patient in the UK to undergo robotic microsurgery after dismissing signs of cancer as a mark from his golf bag. After discovering he had a rare type of skin cancer, medics urgently removed the cancer and used robotic-assisted microsurgery for tissue and vessel reconstruction. The successful operation at the Royal Marsden hospital in London allowed Mr Lees to return to work just weeks later, showcasing the effectiveness of this innovative technology.
