AFLW 2025: Ash Riddell wins best and fairest medal

North Melbourne’s Ash Riddell has claimed the AFLW best-and-fairest award for the first time, polling 23 votes and solidifying her status as a league star. Riddell, also a five-time All-Australian, led her team to the grand final against Brisbane, where they aim to extend their 26-game winning streak. Sydney’s Zippy Fish won the Rising Star award, while Richmond’s Sarah Hosking and Sydney’s Montana Ham took home the marks and goals of the year, respectively.
