Joe Ortona, a vocal challenger of Premier François Legault’s government on various issues, including secularism and French language regulations, was re-elected as chair of the English Montreal School Board. Ortona’s team also won all 10 commissioner races, securing a decisive victory with 13,289 votes, compared to his challenger Katherine Korakakis’ 4,674 votes.
