India's defence ties with Kazakhstan witness uptick with back to back engagements

The defence partnership between India and Kazakhstan has strengthened recently through joint exercises and a visit by an Indian delegation to the country. The 8th edition of the KAZIND military exercise was held in Uttarakhand, focusing on enhancing joint military capabilities for counter-terrorism operations. The exercise included tactical drills such as response to terrorist actions, establishing command posts, and utilizing drones and counter-drone systems for effective operations.
