In Jaipur, a retired IAS officer, R L Meena, was assaulted by a bus conductor over a dispute regarding an additional fare of Rs 10 after not being dropped at his intended stop, leading to a physical altercation captured on video. Meena lodged an FIR against the conductor, Ghanshyam Sharma, who was subsequently suspended by Jaipur City Transport Services Limited for misconduct. In a separate incident in Palghar district, a man was arrested for assaulting an RPF constable after being found in a coach designated for people with disabilities, leading to his apprehension by the Vasai railway police.
