Israel conducts military operation in Syria’s Quneitra in the Golan

Israeli forces staged an incursion into Syria’s Quneitra province, where they abducted a young Syrian man and conducted search operations. The Golan Heights region, recognized by the UN as part of Syria, has been a focal point of territorial violations by Israel since the Six-Day War in 1967. The conflict escalated after the fall of Bashar al-Assad, leading to increased violence and military interventions in the area. Talks between Syria and Israel have aimed to establish a security agreement, but the situation remains tense as Israel maintains a presence in Syrian territory.
