Indian prime minister condemns violence at Hindu temple in Ontario

Three people have been arrested and charged by Peel Regional Police after violence erupted during a visit by Indian consular officials to a Hindu temple near Toronto. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the violence and called for justice, while videos showed clashes between supporters of Khalistan and those holding India’s national flag. Three men were charged with various offenses, including causing disturbance, assaulting a police officer, and mischief over $5,000. Additionally, a police officer has been suspended pending an investigation into their involvement in the demonstration.
