India supports peace, Modi tells Palestinian President in New York

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed India’s support for peace and stability in the region during his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in New York. The leaders discussed strengthening the longstanding friendship between India and Palestine. Last week, the UNGA passed a resolution urging Israel to withdraw from Palestinian territories within 12 months, with 143 countries supporting the motion.
