US government officials have criticized the ICEBlock app and CNN’s coverage of it, resulting in a surge in downloads, making it the top free social networking app in the US. The app, which tracks ICE agent locations, has drawn ire from officials like White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and Attorney General Pam Bondi, who claim it endangers law enforcement officers.
