AI that can match humans at any task will be here in five to 10 years, Google DeepMind CEO says

According to Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, artificial general intelligence (AGI) that can match or surpass human capabilities is expected to emerge within the next five to 10 years. While current AI systems excel in specific tasks, they still lack the complexity and versatility of human intelligence.
