How to apply for Student Assistance Payments of up to $250 for parents of WA school-aged children

Western Australian families can apply for cash payments starting Monday under the State Government’s Student Assistance Payment, receiving $150 for each primary school student and $250 for each secondary student. Education Minister Sabine Winton emphasized the initiative aims to alleviate school costs amid rising living expenses and encourages maximum participation, especially from regional communities. Applications can be submitted via Service WA and will remain open until July 4, with the previous year’s program benefiting four out of five families.
