Hamas releases three Israeli hostages, the sixth group freed under a ceasefire deal

In a ceremony in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, Hamas militants handed over Israeli-American hostage Sagui Dekel-Chen, along with two other hostages holding dual citizenship, as part of the sixth hostage-prisoner exchange. This exchange is part of a ceasefire deal that nearly collapsed between Hamas and Israel, with 369 Palestinian prisoners expected to be released by Israel in return. Among the released hostages is a slogan referencing President Trump’s plan for Gaza. Among the Palestinian prisoners expected to be released are 36 serving life sentences for deadly attacks against Israelis.
