Greece's only miniature therapy horses bring joy to many, but their charity is struggling

Josifina Topa Mazuch, a 9-year-old girl with special needs in Athens, Greece, is delighted by the visit of miniature therapy horses Ivi and Calypso from Gentle Carousel Greece. The charity, founded by Mina Karagianni in 2014, offers pet therapy to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and care homes, but struggles financially without external support. Karagianni, who funds the operation herself, hopes to find help to ensure the program’s continuity despite facing challenges like utility bill debts and health issues.
