French Armed Forces Minister Sebastien Lecournu announced that France will use interest from Russian assets to provide 195 million euros in arms for Ukraine, including artillery shells and glide bombs for Mirage 2000 fighter jets. France also plans to transfer older armoured fighting gear to Ukraine. Lecournu stated that France is sharing intelligence with Ukraine, in contrast to the US decision to cut off intelligence-sharing, and French President Emmanuel Macron has requested an acceleration of French aid packages to compensate for the absence of American assistance.
