Due to heavy rainfall causing the worst flooding in Tunisia in over 70 years, four people were killed in Moknine. The flooding has disrupted daily life in multiple governorates, with cars submerged and areas cut off. The National Institute of Meteorology reported record rainfall levels in Monastir, Nabeul, and greater Tunis. Schools in Tunis and other towns were closed, and the army is assisting in rescue operations.
